Imagine you are walking in a beautiful park. Amazing views come one after another. Suddenly, a nice little bird lands on a branch. Immediately it gets your full attention. In an hour you will remember this bird better, than other views.
The same goes for photography. Do not be afraid to include living species in your landscape pictures. It makes them more attractive and memorable. Let me show some examples.

This is sunset on Cozumel Island, Mexico. It is beautiful, but this picture
is hard to remember.

Now with a street dog as a star, I guess this picture can make you smile.

This picture was taken at the frozen Lake Superior in Gooseberry Falls State
Park, Minnesota.
It was very cold and the two people in the front definitely heiten a feel of
that cold.

One more example. This fall color picture was taken in Minneapolis, MN.
A woman with four dogs makes this peaceful October scene livelier.
Conclusion:
Try to catch people or animals on your landscape pictures. It adds
life to your pieces of art.
