In this lesson, I will explain to you how to create green orb, which fits excellently in your menu or header.
Step 1
For
foreground color set #659800, take the Elliptical Marque tool and
create the selection like it is shown on the picture below.
Step 2
Fill the selection with foreground color.
Step 3
Now, we will add the gradient on selection. See the picture below.
Our orb now looks like this:
Step 4
Press and hold down Ctrl key on layer with selection (Selection that we have create in previous step).
Step 5
Then, create a new layer and Fill the selection with #9CCB10.
Step 6
On circular selection add the gradient. Look at the picture below.
Our orb now looks like this:

Take again Elliptical marquee tool and create the selection like it is shown on the picture below.
Step 8
Create a new layer and fill the selection with #E7EED2.
After that, we will add a gradient.
Step 9
We will also decreas the opacity on 80%, and our orb looks like this:
Step 10
Now, we will add a shadow on orb.
Take again Elliptical marquee tool,and create the selection like it is shown on the picture below.
Step 11
Using the mouse, move that layer beneath all layers.
If necessary, insert some icon in orb and decrease her opacity a little.
