Copy this new made group 4 times and applying Free Transform selection, increase it or minimize it if it's necessary. Change the gradient also (the parameters are indicated for each particular case). Make everything look like in the next picture.

Make a copy of the last made layer and move off the layer's effects. Choose after that the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to give the layer white color. Press Alt button and select the Pen Tool (P) to cut out an opening on the layer.

Cutting Out Renders

Thats the button that looks like a magnifying glass. Click on that and zoom in to a comfortable level by left clicking. The more you zoom in the longer time it will take but the better the cutout will be. Once you are zoomed in use the pen tool to go around the whole image where you wanted cut and left click around the edges. Once you come to the end that's where you will connect the points by...

First, set your image to 400x400. Or anyother size you want. Then press D to put your colors to default. Next go to Filter > Render > Clouds, you should now have something like this:

The key to this project is correct usage or layers. If you aren't very good with them yet here are a few helpful hints. Don't worry Photoshop takes a while to learn and I'll admit it has been frustrating at times. But don't worry, you'll get it. Feel free to ask if you don't.

Make sure you have the bottom, darker layer selected. Right click on this layer and click 'Rasterize'. Grab the smudge tool from the tool box. Choose one of the original brushes, about a size 5 soft circle and set the strength to about 85. Now smudge on the outsides of the darker font slightly and slowly. Make it look something like this.

Changing your coordinate scale actually interprets that your pixel points have been in a polar graph and regraphs them in a rectangular graph which is the normal graph most are familiar with. (if you took advvanced math in hs you may remember the polar graph) What we are doing is changing the way the pixels are oriented, applying an effect to them in that new state, then will change the graphing...

Adding rust. Make a new layer take a grunge brush you can use one from the Natural brush set found in photoshop thought I use a grunge brush and start spraying then change the layers blend to Color burn

Do not deselect yet. If you did then make step backward in history. Create new layer and fill the selection with black color. Now use Move Tool (V) to move black layer down. Make sure that there is no empty space left between two layers. You should have the following:

Camourflage Texture

Goto Filter > Artistic > Sponge. Adjust sliders so that the result looks like camoflauge. Goto Image > Adjustments > Color Balance. Adjust color sliders to give the color of camoflauge that you desire. You should now have your camoflauge texture.

Grid Background

Color is not so impressive because of low Contrast. Press Ctrl + M to open Curve, pull the line to curve it up a little. Create a new layer mode Overlay, use Brush with black and white to draw some details.
